Today the Premier revealed his environmental platform: re-announcing a marine plan signed two years ago, a land target from 2023 and a data centre power cap that’s already in force. What he didn’t say, is that his own government admits B.C. will miss its climate targets.

As a person who has worked in the humanitarian aid sector, the racist and colonial opportunism of this unethical research is not astonishing but it is profoundly disturbing. Opting out of vaccine and pharmaceutical equity in this way is not an unacceptable R&D methodology.

On this National Day of Action for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls and Gender Diverse People, it must be acknowled that, since the 2019, when the MMIWG2S National Inquiry issued its 123 Calls for Justice, progress has been shamefully slow. No more delays for our Indigenous sisters.

My highest campaign value? Service. Service to the people who put me in office. Provincial politics must be better connected to municipal realities, the communities that make up the electoral map. It’s not an abstract concept.You listen then you respond by pushing for policies that meet their needs.
