@rooster.infoI was pretty sure I was going to appeal going into the trial. But when I learned that the prosecutor and Kirtland have to continue spending resources on a single nude Shrek image sent to a 74-year-old state senator, well, it was an even easier decision for me.
@rooster.infoIt would appear the concept of jury nullification, which dates back to colonial times, still has a way to go in Lake County.
We've decided to appeal to decision, because ultimately this case is about if a lowly State Senator can jail a critic over protected speech.
