"I am Ashrah, the Warrior of Balance, the Sword of Freedom, the Twilight Spirit." New pinned post with all my Ashrah commissions so far (credits in the alt text) 😈🗡️💜 Her story is coming soon in Eternal Flame, Book 1 of #ChroniclesOfTheRealms 🔥 #ChroniclesOfTheRealmsArt #SayaAshrah

Damn, that's some dedication, well done! 🔥

CotR has a loooot of characters, but yes, Ashrah is the heart and soul of the mythology. And, by far and large, the most complex character I've ever written, which just contributes to making her such an enormous passion for me 🥰

Assuming TIHID gets approved, I'll post Garden of Rotten Roses there next, too. And it's likely where I'll publish the official epub version of Chronicles of the Realms as well once that's ready for the release.

It did give me an idea for a supernatural, horror-centric setting in Edenia, though, so there's that x)

Thought about watching this one, recently. But yeah, I saw the reviews weren't great, even though apparently it earned a loyal fanbase.

@sayaashrah.bsky.social Oct 11, 2026, 12:53 AM

APOSTLE: I saw Gareth Evans and was intrigued. I was scammed. Poor characters—especially the women—a central premise forgotten for most of the film, and weird direction choices. It had an interesting world-building premise, and it was totally wasted.

Should've given us Raid 3 instead.

Oh, I deleted it.

@sayaashrah.bsky.social Oct 11, 2026, 12:51 AM

Ooh, curious about this new game 👀

@sayaashrah.bsky.social Oct 11, 2026, 12:50 AM

Hope your hearing returns soon 🤞🏽

Enjoy the vacation!

#Conlangity 10. An important word that I forgot: Miyra [mʉ-ɾ̪ɐ], meaning House. Not the physical place, but the "clans." For example, our beloved Miyra Coliary, to which Nitara (and later Ashrah) belongs.

Your House contains your family, but also more, and it deserves your uncompromising loyalty.

I like that they have a word for "platonic friend" and "romantic friend" 💜

@sayaashrah.bsky.social Oct 11, 2026, 12:36 AM

Oh, Ashrah never had any trouble admitting she's the Demon of Pride—not that her purple eyes would let her hide that even if she wanted to xD She's pretty truthful overall, but yes, she does tend to embellish some things, and it's not even a conscious thing lol

@sayaashrah.bsky.social Oct 11, 2026, 12:34 AM

Sareena is the odd one out 😅

@sayaashrah.bsky.social Oct 11, 2026, 12:34 AM

I don't know how much info you could extract from that, but... sure 😅

@sayaashrah.bsky.social Oct 11, 2026, 12:34 AM

I admit I never heard of it before today. Calibre is easy, though. If you can export into docx, you then import to Calibre and it converts to epub.

@sayaashrah.bsky.social Oct 11, 2026, 12:32 AM

Not even like past the first post—not even the OP.

@sayaashrah.bsky.social Oct 11, 2026, 12:32 AM

Possibly! As long as he's aware that such a thing as "strictly factual autobiography" don't exist with the Demon of Pride xD

@sayaashrah.bsky.social Oct 11, 2026, 12:30 AM

So sorry to read about all you two have been through, but hopefully, a turning point for the better is coming very soon 🙌🏽

@sayaashrah.bsky.social Oct 10, 2026, 10:29 PM

He certainly wouldn't like EF Ashrah 🤣
