@cjforms.bsky.social
Forms and survey specialist.
Always keen to try to answer your questions about making better forms (and if you must, maybe even those about surveys).
@cjforms.bsky.socialIf you’ve ever thought of drinking raw milk before boiling it, maybe read this article.
I learned that drinking raw milk unboiled is bad from @sarahtaber.bsky.social
Tl;dr it’s fine so long as you’re ok with a mix of milk and poop
(Cheese made from raw milk is a completely different thing).
@cjforms.bsky.socialDo it!
@cjforms.bsky.socialIt’s amazing the lengths that organisations will go to in order to collect nonsense made-up data
@webdevconf.comReposted by @cjforms.bsky.socialA huge thank you to everyone who attended WDC2026! We can’t wait to see you all again next year!

@cjforms.bsky.socialLoved the sign to greet us, enjoyed it more when switched off during talks
@cjforms.bsky.socialReally enjoyed your talk and extra appreciation for mention some key women in the timeline
@cjforms.bsky.socialOh I’m sorry I missed you! Glad my talk might have been useful. I definitely got a lot from @amyhupe.bsky.social’s talk
@cjforms.bsky.socialGosh quite a change. Very best of luck for your reset time and whatever comes next.
@cjforms.bsky.socialReally enjoyed @webdevconf.com - great and varied selection of talks, met lovely people new to me, caught up with some friends, even had the opportunity to talk about #FixTheForms
Thank you.
@cjforms.bsky.socialInteresting. I’m not entirely convinced that would work for date of birth but I think I’d have to try it
@cjforms.bsky.socialFully agree that forcing those of us with dyscalculia (me) or dyslexia to re-type long numbers such as passport numbers is another nightmare. Pro tips: - let people type in their date of birth - let them copy-paste wherever they want to
@cjforms.bsky.socialIn today’s episode of #FixTheForms, @martinjordan.com encounters the older person’s nemesis: the calendar picker that forces folks like me to click back through a billion months.
Luckily Martin is much younger 😊
@cjforms.bsky.socialWell I’m honoured that you list Effortmark.co.uk (me) as a training provider
@cjforms.bsky.socialVisited one friend (parent of a friend) who is living with dementia in a truly lovely flat with attractive spare bedroom for family, nice enough that I started investigating for the longer term myself. That’s how I found out about the scamming.
@cjforms.bsky.socialHave older friends - mostly parents of friends at this stage - who have really thrived in their retirement flats but I accept that experiences must be mixed.
@cjforms.bsky.socialThat’s a much better idea, agreed.
@cjforms.bsky.socialThis story is typical.
So there’s actually a surplus of property suitable for older retired people but the charging structure and lack of regulation about fees means lots of these properties are empty
@cjforms.bsky.socialFully agree about the young people. Not quite so sure about the old people market. Idea is basically good but popular scam is: - build retirement flats - sell for premium prices with extra-high service charges for some warden stuff - punitive exit charges so inheritors struggle to re-sell
@cjforms.bsky.socialNot a hugely popular move for those who wanted to have children but couldn’t, those of us who chose to be child-free, and those (very sadly) whose offspring pre-deceased them.
@cjforms.bsky.socialDoh! Of course I saw this thread because you reposted it.
