@office-anomaly.bsky.sociali wish some artists would just accept that doing research and studying what things looks like is an inextricable part of the art process
@office-anomaly.bsky.sociali meant this lovingly, not in an "i want to die" way.. ;u;

@lostboy1977.bsky.socialReposted by @office-anomaly.bsky.socialAs part of the recent CN leaks, I'm duty-bound to highlight the storyboards for a defining moment in pop culture: the moment when Daphne Blake went goth and teamed up with the Hex Girls to captivate the world with an all-time banger.

@office-anomaly.bsky.socialyeah that's how i felt too (the show not caring much for Carrie, the story) ;o; it's a shame bc i did feel a lot of sympathy for the character with the way the actor played her, but it just missed the point, unfortunately
@office-anomaly.bsky.socialwithout spoiling how the show went abt it, it just felt like they really didn't want carrie to be a messy teen girl in any way at all, which makes her feel flat :( instead just assigned the unsavory characteristics of a teenager to the other characters ;o;
@office-anomaly.bsky.socialseeing her in context in the show is a different issue tbh. you wanna root for her, but also feels like the show takes so many liberties with her character (and her mom) for you to do that (idk that's just the feeling im getting)
@office-anomaly.bsky.socialright? agreed
@office-anomaly.bsky.socialim not talking abt the ending.
