YAY ITS FINALLY HERE! I’m so proud of the schedule we made and can’t wait to be there for it all with everyone. What is everyone looking forward to seeing? Also, I’ll be running in this :D PvZ Day Blindfolded will make its in-person debut at 6:45 Eastern time on Saturday, September 5th! Hype!!!

This is your last day to fill this out! It closes at midnight eastern tomorrow, so make sure to submit your Pokémon sidegame/spinoff runs!

Tag yourself, I’m the former

Lol I’m pretty much up there with you so definitely biased, but I feel like even casual Undertale enjoyers (if there is such a thing) would have a good time too

LMAOOOO you’re so right idk how I did that

How does one even decide to do this. There’s legal reasons your company would *have* to know if you’re a widower if you become one. I really believe these LLM users just fork over their entire brains to the technology because there’s no other explanation

No the kings just thought this is what a triple double meant, cut them some slack

Correction here, the 20th is a Tuesday! Everything else is correct :) Hope to see y’all there!

I believe in Penny’s so hard

Just a reminder while you’re submitting for AGDQ/Twitchcon that if you’re throwing Pokémon spin-off runs into the ring you can ALSO submit to my November GDQ hotfix special! Submissions are open until end of day on the 11th! Repost and share, I want to see your runs <3

That’s one of the ones I’m most optimistic about! Have been working hard to bring my time down lately so here’s hoping. Good luck to you too, you have such a strong varied slate this time!

Submissions for this time around for AGDQ! A very me slate of games lol. Best of luck to everyone submitting :)

By the way I repost/reposted this like only for visibility of the rule change, the situation seems complex from where I’m sitting, just probably good for people to know what going on

SRC changed their terms of use yesterday, and released a news post with an FAQ. They make it sound like not a big deal. It's a big deal. The Creative Commons licence is gone. They claim ownership over the data now. Thread about what this means, and what we can do about it 🧵

…that offer built-in accessibility tools that are defined as allowed in the rules, but this doesn’t happen everywhere. Generally, communities value standardization for competitive integrity, so if there are accessibility tools they’re typically provided by the moderators.

Fantastic question! The practical answer is that every speedrunning community handles accessibility differently, which is something we’ll get into in the talk. There are definitely some I’ve encountered, such as the Deltarune community… (cont.)

It’s all so good it’s killing meeeee

I must lift you up as the personality hire
