I altered my old pair so they’d fit me better, so I figured I’d have to alter the new ones — I was wrong! The old ones had stretched so much that I thought they were too big for me. I love learning these things about my old, well-loved possessions. How unique to me they are.

It’s nuts seeing how fabric degrades when it ages. I’ve had the same pair of rainbow suspenders (pictured right) since elementary school, and after a solid 20 years with them I had to find another pair. Same brand, same age, same fabric, but the difference is that one is full of so much more love!!!
