Hey folks, my new video is live now! And if you were watching live, is secretly a TOP 13 video! I cheated. It's by far my biggest one yet, and I'm really proud of this one, so please do share it around and leave a comment on the vid if you don't mind, it really helps and I love to read 'em! 💜

I think I was too young and didn't have patience for stalled progress, I'd played a few classics back then like Sam and Max, or Day of the Tentacle, but I think it was The Dig that I had the worst time with. I couldn't get far in it, and it put me off the genre generally for years.

I despised microtransactions and the like, but I thought criticism of gaming was all too negative and I wanted to highlight and champion games that are doing things right. Y'know?

Well, the money ain't great and income is precarious, so not so much that. I was inspired to start streaming because I saw a lot of negativity in games coverage at the time, everything seemed extremely doom and gloom, microtransactions and asset flips, and I wanted to highlight the good...

Silver Pines

And y'know I've mentioned hiring an actor for my next video? Got the contact details from a voice actor friend.

Definitely not an insignificant amount, I have a fair amount of PR contacts for games, I discover indie games in part from fellow indie game sickos, raids from fellow streamers, knowing some YouTubers has been invaluable for me getting a start there as far as advice for writing and producing my vids

Hell yeah, loved this game. Glad you played it, because you're the reason I heard about Scratches in the first place

Not hugely, but it helped. I used to dislike point and click adventures, but really around on the genre after playing Darkside Detective and Unavowed back to back, then I got sent a copy of Lamplight City and... I guess I like the genre now!

I definitely hate all the AI slop that is constantly flooding my inbox

Alan Wake, definitely. But while not the longest, XCom 2 might be my biggest shame, unplayed since launch.

Maybe.

Gone on holiday and I think this hotel is haunted by George Michael

Voice Actors for Palestine is back again this year, and I'm taking part again! If you can, please donate and get a VA to say what you want! ♥️

Look Outside fans, this should be the next one to check out. It's very openly, clearly inspired by Welcome To Night Vale, right down to having audio recordings of 'The Weather Channel' on the radio, but does enough things of its own to make for a great time.

four years ago I posted this image of paleontologist Jan Smit looking at rocks and his son-in-law replied with something even better

Aw, someone was kind enough to message me and let me know they'd never read Steam Hype because it's 'staffed by far-left lunatics'. That's high praise, and I hope they continue to stay very far away.

Very cool!
