I could be wrong, but I'm not: this series is not coming back to Milwaukee. The Ueck will fill up again for Game 1 of the Series.

God, but his shit is so gross, though.

With a three-run lead, I would not be giving Ashby this second up. But whatever.

Milwaukee won 103 games this year. They scored the 2nd most runs & allowed 4th fewest. Obviously they got waxed by LA last year, & that matters, but between that & the obvious second-half struggles of the Dodgers, you can't position this as that much of a surprise. They're good!

Seemed like Pratt got a bad jump.

Murph and Murph Prime out to check on Hamilton.

Captain shit.

The grounder's gonna get changed to an error. Don't waste your outrage on that. That will end up an error.

Bad throw and bad decision to throw. And Bauers has to keep that with him, too. Everyone failed.

The Brewers are good enough to beat the Padres even when sloppy. Not the Dodgers. They don’t clean this up, they’ll lose. Should be ahead 1-0 right now.

I hate to just pick Smoltz’s nits but this is something I believe should be understood better anyway: Hitting a lazy fly ball the other way and hitting a line drive the other way are considerably more different than they appear.

I assume this is about Davis and Smoltz but if it’s a subskeet it’s beautifully crafted

Came back when he shouldn’t have, to say the very least. Must need surgery. Must need it *badly*.

The palpable discomfort in the box is… worrying. Worrisome. Bad.

Here’s a warm take: William Contreras shouldn’t ever play in another uniform, and I kinda don’t think he will.

I think the Brewers win this game and put 3 or 4 on Yamamoto. I’m kinda saying that just because everyone else is treating Yamamoto like a playoff immortal, but I’m saying it to illustrate that all those folks are saying what they are only because we haven’t seen Yamamoto fail in October *yet*.

Contreras has to block that ball and this has been an all-year problem.

It’s totally gonna save us from climate change, too, guys, go buy up a bunch of oceanfront property. In fact I have some to sell you right here!
