If like me you get joy out of finding Easter eggs in the Roku City screensaver, they’ve added lots of Halloweeny stuff in the past few days, including pumpkins, toilet papered trees, and references ranging from DONNIE DARKO to HOCUS POCUS to NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET to OBSESSION. Fun stuff.

I have no idea if people would go for this, but I’ve been thinking about doing a “Halloween History” party, where each element is strictly tied to one time period. Like, all the music is from the 1930s and 40s. Decor from the 50s. Everybody’s costume is IP from the 80s. Movies from the 90s/2000s.

Oh, people were making excuses for those guys. They’re “good” writers. The MCU has only “bad” writers. 🙄
