I can go back and pick up on some animal characters in media that made sense to me or I would draw fanart of now, but nothing in popular media really stood out to me, it was always the artists with original characters that appealed most to me and got me interested in trying it myself

I liked drawing animals, but it was always casual and not what I'd consider 'early furry' what I really remember was not understanding why I wasn't attracted to the whole idealized thin image, but then I found fat artists on dA (furry and human) and that started my interest in furry and fatfur art
