The subtlety of the original narration was better for the book, but the dialogue version would be better for visual media.

Evil Dead Burn makes me miss Bruce Campbell and the humor this series used to have. Somewhat predictable, with good tension.

Evil Dead without laughs feels conventional, while Sinners, Weapons, Backrooms, and even the Resident Evil reboot elevate the horror genre for me.
