Art, music, programming, co-direction etc. He is best at commenting about geo-political stuff but when it comes to characters... Ew. He needs people to reign him in. Hollywood Kojumbo also sucks.

But Kojima was also planning to have the ending of mgs4 be Snake and Otacon to be executed!! Why?? And it only didn't happen because the rest of the team strongly opposed it!

Ok fine you can argue Kojima was sick of making the games and wanted to tie all loose-ends but killing EVERYONE is a hacky way of doing so. Especially if the characters are also there to titillate the audience. Let's not even talk about the B&B Unit.
