‘For years the Observer tried to get to the truth of Russian interference until we sacked the reporter involved for participating in union activities’

(for the record, as if anyone cared, I'm 100% up for ghosts).

I wonder if they put witches first (assuming that's the order it went in), people would be all 'pfff, obviously not' and the rest would be lower as well. Or maybe people are categorising psychic and mediums in with witches? I've probably already thought about this too much.

But partial truths only from the Observer, who fails to report WHO revealed the Arron Banks/Leave EU emails (me and @carolecadwalla.bsky.social ) and that she, unlike me, suffered years of legal threats, online abuse (including Andrew Neil) and then was peremptorily sacked by the Observer

Your regular reminder that my daughter Alice’s death wasn’t counted in Appleby’s report, despite her meeting all the criteria. And when I emailed the Tavistock adult GIC to inform them they could take Alice off the waitlist, because she’d died by suicide, they never replied. It’s a disgrace.

This was for 'The Obstacle Course Badge', which also needed a spreadsheet to keep track of twenty-odd characters in four different teams. Remains my favourite of all my episodes, aprt from anything else, it's so *violent*. www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/epis...

'I'm going on a gap yah!' Brilliant episode by Jo Clegg.

I once had to write a 19 page outline for a 7 min episode of Hey Duggee and that's for pre-schoolers. So much stuff has to *happen* for TV.

I'm just jealous because I've never been able to do puns. :(

I refuse to believe this was not set up in advance, perhaps many days ago.

Not that long since I tiredly poured cat biscuits into a cereal bowl and was *this* close to adding milk.

Ours just turns up every August, it never feels right.

Here, it's looking at the stove and whispering, 'Soon'.

More than two dozen workers at three major publishing houses—HarperCollins, Simon & Schuster, and Hachette—tell WIRED that LLMs are being used for publicity, cover art, back cover copy, and emails, as some execs push junior staff to champion the tech.
