Was last there over a decade ago for a week. Pretty magical. I have fond memories of this place👇 not just for food but for atmosphere. At twilight a pianist set up an actual piano on the bridge opposite. Sound of music over all the other sounds. Also waiter was v patient with my high school French😂

Brilliant post! My first thought Rump steak with BANANAS ???? I also noted the clams in aspic and the snails on toast. (Pickled herring I still love, sorry). Also that Food Lovers Guide looked awfully familiar.

Do you mean the marinade or the ketchup-sauce after? Yes to both but I've only used it in marinade. I use it for wings (recipe in the link below is not mine but seriously holey moley, I always use it for parties). I also have a recipe somewhere from a Spanish friend for cola chicken, same principle
