Olson died in 2022.

Vietnam War veteran & author William Broyles, Jr. was involved in several important dramatic projects in the late 20th century. Broyles (born today in 1944) created ABC’s acclaimed Vietnam War drama China Beach in the late 1980s – & penned the screenplays for Apollo XIII (1995) & Cast Away (2000).

100% they do. They all need to be removed from office. Vote them out.

Judy Landers spent the early part of her career playing the curvaceous dimwit (often alongside her sister Audrey) on television in the 1970s & 1980s. Landers (born today in 1958) had a compelling second act – moving to Florida to launch a successful entertainment production company.

June Allyson (born today in 1917) starred in many musical comedy films in the 1940s & 1950s – becoming a beloved figure in Hollywood. Allyson spent several decades at the end of her career guest starring in television programs, such as The Love Boat; Simon & Simon; & Hart to Hart. She died in 2006.

Al Martino (born today in 1927) struck gold with his debut single in 1952 (“Here in My Heart”) – it soared to #1 in the U.S. He had two more top-ten hits (“I Love You Because” – #3 in 1963 & “I Love You More & More Every Day” – #9 in 1964). Also, he appeared in The Godfather (1972). He died in 2009.
