Fashion Team haul: - 3 wider leg pants, this year’s big innovation - 3 basic shirts - 2 fun shirts - 2 dress shirts - 1 brown jacket And then a suit for the three straight hours I’ll be yammering next to a giant election results screen the next two Saturdays Good friends! They’re nice to have!
strong contender for stupidest mcelroy gets results ever
The BC Conservatives have promised dependable Wifi on BC Ferries if they form government. One might note that BC Ferries fought and lost this white whale of a quest over two different governments, but what is an election for if not for optimism?
We’ve been doing this for more than a decade, and thanks to their help I can detect patterns, colour coordination and fit well enough to dress myself much more competently than the first 28 years of my life. But it’s still fun to do stuff with friends, and I need a new election night suit.
It’s time for one of my favourite traditions of the year: Fashion Team Time! - I got shopping with two fashionable friends; they pick out clothes for me to try on - If they both say yes? I must buy it, no questions asked - Always terrifying! - 100% better than me creating a wardrobe on my own
like anthony i also wrote about food unlike anthony i decided that everyone country’s cuisine needed to be ranked using a completely arbitrary system and let me tell you, my ranking will be universally praised and beloved
GET OUT OF MY WAY BOURDAIN
This only in B.C program allowed untold homeowners to defer taxes at such a small rate that they could reinvest those deferrals into low-risk funds for a profit, at the same time rents were exploding in B.C. But given the politics and who votes, I’d be surprised to see the NDP defend it.
two equally great canadian stories
the dynamic between Eby and Sim has been interesting, in that both mostly decided that a non-aggression pact was their best strategy (though Sim has turned against that more in the last six months, for reasons) given Fry's demeanour/the Conservative pivot away from KLF, hard to predict specifics
posted this 17 days ago and i would consider folks to start thinking about it more!
The NDP anytime in the last decade when people complained about BC Ferries: “this is an arms lengths corporation with its own governance system that we would never interfere with, ever, what sort of crazy populism would that be?” The NDP with two weeks left in a snap election they’re losing:
đź‘€ they fixed the escalator too!
Amanda did the illustrations for the book and I can’t emphasize enough how lovely they are!
just saw pete fry preparing to film a video in tinseltown mall, as one does a week before an election when you’re leading the polls
Sure is!
There sure is! Nov. 9, 80% sold out now but still tickets available.
Look, I made a hat Where there never was a hat
yep the province can say yes, no, "yes but it has to be system X", "yes but you have to pass a referendum" (like they did for killing the park board), all power and glory to the province as always
