The cover for my upcoming dark fantasy novel is out, and pre-orders are available. Exciting stuff. I'll be posting about it a LOT most likely, but scope it out now!

Not every piece of art will become good even with all the striving in the world. "Making it good" isn't the point. The striving to make it good is the point. Grasping at something beyond your reach is a kind of nourishment for the soul.

I think it's also just a misalignment of values. I'm an obsessive type of creator. I'll spend 3 days on a sentence. I know the reader will probably never notice or care, but I have a long list of shit to worry about before the reader enters the equation.

I think there is a place for middle of the road stuff. Stuff that depicts genre tropes and abides the rules and satisfies expectations. But it's not on my shelf. If I don't sense the author yearning, I don't want it. I want to see blood on the page.

It was a joy to read with all these talented authors. It's immortalized now on YouTube, so check it out!

I think it's fair to say that Mainers have a problem with authority.

Congratulations!!

I watched Mickey-17 the other night & enjoyed it. It does already feel a little naive in its estimation of techno-fascism in the context of a few more years moving in that direction, but virtually all of these thought-experiment sci-fi tales end up feeling that way in retrospect. Still a fun watch.

My favorite Bangles song

Lipsnitch 1 is old news. I'm already on that Lipsnitch 2 shit

The children yearn to read Lipsnitch Snilly. You can hand it out to them on Halloween or put it under their pillows when they loose teeth.

There is no way those comps can be earned. I will be watching though!!!
