Frazzle is feeling remorseful after this morning's partridge incident.

I haven't. I must confess I am not really a club person. Too many people for my liking. Example: joined the Lancia Motor Club 2.5 years ago. Have never met a single member or been to an event.

Yep. It's a lovely thing. Feels like it's got me excited about being on a bike again after a few years of it all being a bit meh. And that's despite it being slower than most bikes I've owned.

🤣 I think the fact that they are farmed for sport has definitely helped preserve the species. The trouble is, though, once they and the pheasants get released, having all lived sheltered lives on the farm to that point, they're completely clueless about the dangers of the outside world!

I apologise for the additional trauma! (In fairness, I had to bag it up and dispose of it, so I think I had the worst of it!)

Well, given that he's half labrador and half poodle, both of which breeds were originally bred for waterfowl hunting / retrieval, I think he believes that partridges are basically small ducks. They also seem crap at flying and they don't run quickly, so much easier to take down than an actual duck

Frazzle is nothing if not thorough.

Frazzle has never shown any aptitude for it until recently. This is the second partridge he's killed in 3 weeks. It's not pleasant, but dogs are dogs. His tally now is 4 in total. He killed another partridge about 4 years ago and a rat two years ago. I am not liking the trend, though.
