Especially since other cities and other countries have already studied similar conditions post crashes, and made clear recommendations for mitigation. By focusing on warrants (injuries/deaths at a specific location) we reject the idea that we have plenty to learn from others’ losses.

It makes me almost unspeakably angry that we hear how it's a huge imposition for people to have to park a block from their destination (bus riders typically walk several) or to have to *GASP* pay for parking, and meanwhile people walking and riding bikes routinely pay with their bodies and lives
