Mrs. Rice House (b.~1860's)
Holly, Oakland County Michigan.

I could only find one person buried in the area with the last name "Rice." It's possible that she was a widow who moved when she remarried. Or maybe she died at the age of 21. Who knows!

Tangent: this area is part of a wider ecosystem called the St Clair Flats, a freshwater delta consisting of marshy islands and coastal wetlands. It's been a heavily trafficked tourist destination since the 1890's. Chris-Craft boats were first invented here in nearby Algonac. It's very beautiful :)
