We always work to ensure that the cheating accounts are actioned, and innocent players who are not actively seeking these cheats or their benefits are not punished.

Additionally, we are continuing to investigate and action new cheats as they come online in Destiny 2. We have recently seen cheats spamming unearned rewards and XP on innocent accounts. Accounts leveraging these cheats in malicious ways have already been actioned.

We would like to take this opportunity to remind all players to protect your account. Do not share your credentials or use account recovery, boosting, or cheat services. This opens your account up to risk, like being accessed on hardware leveraging cheat tools or services without your knowledge.

We have recently issued a large ban wave within Destiny 2 against accounts found to be violating terms of service either by cheating or by using account recovery, ban evasion, or boosting services. We have further investigated appeals to this wave to validate accuracy.

Update: Due to issues found on the Crucible map Disjunction, we will be removing the map from additional Crucible playlists. Players may still access this map in Private Matches moving forward.

2. The Europa 4-piece Armor Set Bonus is being disabled in Crucible environments as it can give players Frost Armor at all times. This set bonus will continue to be available in PvE.

We have two more Crucible-centric changes going live today to address map and sandbox balance issues. 1. The map Disjunction is being removed from Iron Banner due to issues with Fortress zone placement.

Bountiful Munitions: While Adrenal Rush is active, final blows grant Special Ammo progress. Final Blows against powerful combatants, Guardians, and Taken grants additional progress. This set bonus will continue to function in PvE environments.

Due to an issue where players can spawn near infinite Special Ammo in the Crucible, we will be disabling the 4-Piece Set Bonus from the Gambit "Cyberserpent Null" armor set in Crucible Ops playlists. Yes, this includes Iron Banner, which is live right now!

UPDATE: The issue with Zavala's weekly Vanguard Arsenal has been resolved. Players should now be able to claim the weapon as expected.

Thank you to all the players that participated in the Excision, Ergo Sum Community Challenge. Those of you who helped defeat The Witness and stopped the final shape will have the Intrepid Pearl emblem waiting when they log into Destiny 2. Claim it from Collections > Flair > Emblems > General.

We are investigating an issue where Zavala's weekly Vanguard Arsenal weapon is not available for players to claim. Players are advised to not spend Chronologs unlocking additional weapon options at this time if that option is available to them. More information will be provided when available.

We have issued a server-side fix to address an issue in which the Bane of Tyrants ship no longer had an acquisition source, blocking completion of the Lunar Rover badge and the Harbinger title. All players now have this ship unlocked in the badge and Collections under Equipment > Ships > Season 8.

We have just deployed a server side change to prevent the map "Meltdown" from appearing in Crucible playlists. Issue at hand: Players could get out of bounds, reaching previously inaccessible portions of the map that gave unintended advantages. A fix is planned for next week.

Players can still participate in Community Challenge: Excision, Ergo Sum and earn the emblem before it ends on June 25 at 11:00 AM PT. We aim to deliver the emblem into participating accounts within 30 days after the end of this challenge.
