Honored to speak at the Punchbowl News Tech Summit in San Francisco yesterday with House Energy and Commerce Chair Brett Guthrie. Congressman Nathaniel Moran and I have introduced the bipartisan AI Kill Switch Act. Pleased Chairman Guthrie supports kill switches for AI models.

November is coming

Want to know what an advanced AI model looks like? It’s mostly matrices of numbers. And we don’t really know how it works. But we do know this. It’s a bunch of calculations and numbers. It has no soul, no consciousness, no feelings. Anyone who says otherwise is in an AI cult.

Honored to attend the Annual World Famous Pie Contest at the Torrance Certified Farmers’ Market this morning! My wife Betty was one of the judges. She tried about a dozen pies and said she will not be eating for the rest of the day.

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival, aka Mooncake Festival!

Honored to speak last weekend at the Maricopa County Democratic Party Annual Brunch in Phoenix! Packed House. Incredible energy.

We should be working on bills to lower the high costs of living and to address the risks of AI. Many AI bills have been introduced. My AI Kill Switch Act, for example, is a common sense, bipartisan bill. Instead Speaker Johnson cancelled two weeks of session. Ridiculous.

Inflation keeps increasing under GOP policies. Inflation was higher than expected in August. Many Americans are suffering and having trouble making ends meet. What are trump and Republicans focused on? Renaming bodies of water. November is coming.

-Average gas prices hit the highest monthly levels in history in August. -Diesel prices hit an all time record high in September. What are trump and Republicans focused on? Changing the name of New Mexico to New America. November is coming.

I am grateful November is coming.

Mortgage prices are up. Gas prices are up. Grocery prices are up. What are trump and Republicans focused on? Renaming bodies of water. November is coming.
