...but yes it would be very interesting indeed - would you generalise to other sound constructs, for example the acoustic dishes on the east England coast used to listen for aeroplanes? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acousti...

@drspacejunk.bsky.socialI have to differ a bit - colonised countries have been pushing for repatriation of artefacts for decades and British museums resisted the requests of Indigenous people. It's great that more repatriation is happening now, but they shouldn't claim moral high ground.
