You can get this bill (legally) down to ~$320 if you commit to visiting someone with cable or YTTV on Christmas and forsake ESPN games until the conference finals. Unfortunately, ESPN is not taking a long hiatus between opening week and Christmas unlike last season.
I ran the updated numbers on what it costs America-based fans to watch all of the NBA basketball (non-local team division). It's $556 this season, up from $549 a year ago. But your local team is what could make it way worse www.teamziller.com/nba-streamin...
For me: nihilism.
Wrote about Dolan vs. KAT and where relationships guy Leon Rose is in all of it. www.teamziller.com/karl-anthony...
Teenager and I went to see it. I hope studios keep making movies like that. Maybe like 10% less [REDACTED FOR SPOILERS].
it is the only way
Sac State is now 0-3 in the MAC with a -68 point differential. Their three conference opponents all finished in the bottom four in the MAC last season with a combined record of 5-19. This was the "easy" part of their debut conference schedule.
Good news: Sacramento State had a lead in a MAC game! Bad news: they still lost by four touchdowns to Bowling Green, who went 2-6 in conference last season.
I too have an idea about what Mitch Johnson should do with the Spurs' starting five. www.teamziller.com/spurs-dylan-...
Newsletter No. 1,700 is about ... the Celtics, who keep winning without hard resets and are putting together a near-legendary string of success (again) www.teamziller.com/celtics-winn...
Nothing but respect for MY Digger
(1,200 words per issue might be low. I'm far more likely to go 2K+ than <800, especially during the, like, 9-month season.)
That's newsletter edition Number 1,699 since I went independent at the very end of 2019. At an average length of 1,200 words per newsletter, that's an estimated 2 million or so words over 6 yrs 9 mos. The Old Testament is *only* 600,000 words! Sheesh.
It's Free Newsletter Wednesday. I wrote about Jokic's loyalty impacting his legacy and made an insane artwork choice www.teamziller.com/nikola-jokic...

Incredible. I got through those except The Stand, but I think Dolores Claibourne was my last one before I pivoted to ... uh, no longer reading for pleasure for, like, 15 years.
Monday's newsletter is up. Wrote about the three most consequential rookie extension negotiations from a league perspective, plus we have links and highlights from the weekend www.teamziller.com/nba-rookie-e...
lol I remember jumping from Bunnicula to The Shining (that was the paperback that happened to be sitting around). My dad also had a large collection of The Executioner novels that I ripped through by age 10 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Exe...
Ironically after reading a bunch of Stephen King in elementary school, I have no appetite for horror as an adult.
