Violence and criminal activity continue to put Rohingya refugees at risk in the camps in Ukhia, Cox’s Bazar.

A refugee camp should be a place where people can live without fear. Women, children and other vulnerable people should not have to face violence or threats where they are supposed to be protected.

The authorities and those responsible for security must take effective action to protect civilians and prevent further violence. Rohingya refugees have already lost their homes. They should not have to live with fear and insecurity in the place where they sought safety.
