Gameplay from Descenso a Kur, a 2D side-view game set in the Sumerian underworld. From the title screen, Inanna goes into a stone hall with four floors joined by stairs that sink out of the floor. On the bottom floor she commands one of the feathered dead with her rod and makes it push a stone block to the far wall, while the dead hidden in the burial niches lean out and strike, leaving it stunned. She climbs the block to the second floor. There she leaves a copy of herself on one floor plate, stands on another, and a feathered dead steps onto the third: part of the floor above sinks into a staircase. Upstairs, two more feathered dead appear in a puff of dust, and she gets them onto a plate together with her copy to lower the next staircase. On the top floor, stones fall from the ceiling onto a feathered dead standing on a plate, crushing it and leaving a stone step on its bones. It comes back in a puff of dust and chases her, and she does it again until three steps reach a ledge. She climbs them, spreads her mantle and a current of air lifts her up through a hole in the ceiling, next to a huge niche.
