The player character gets tail whipped by a khezu, a wyvern that has pale, veiny outer flesh, and a long, worm like neck, and no eyes. The wyvern follows by shooting electricity balls that go along the ground, as the player pulls a glowing string from a bug, which then launches them like a slingshot upward. Then they land a swing from their giant blade, launching them back upward, as the camera pulls back and shows the scene of victory, as the wyvern dies. The player keeps swinging their sword for no reason.
A green wyvern (Rathian) blows fire balls into the player character, who blocks them with the flat of their gigantic blade and slams it into the monster in the same movement. Then they charge a vertical swing into the monster, making it reel backward. This repeats 3 times, before the monster finally does a backward somersault to swing their tail into the player, who rolls leftward to dodge.
Monster Hunter Rise screencap. The player character is falling toward a gigantic pale pink fox like monster (Mizutsune). Player character is swinging a gigantic sword downward into it, and after landing, spins around to horizontally swing it into the monster. The monster repositions to face the player, as the player charges a swing. Although the monster roars in an attempt to stun the player, the player pushes through with their swing, the damage of which topples the monster.
