The REMUS 600 is an advanced, unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) developed in the United States. It is designed for underwater reconnaissance missions, seabed mapping, mine detection and classification, environmental data collection, and the search for underwater targets. 🔹 This system can operate at depths of up to approximately 600 meters. Relying on inertial navigation, a Doppler Velocity Log (DVL), acoustic navigation, and GPS when surfacing, it can perform the majority of its missions independently, without the need for constant communication with the operator. Its key features include a side-scan sonar, precise environmental sensors, and data recording systems. 🔹 The Zeebad UUV, seized by the Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), belongs to the same family and is now in the possession of experts within that force. 🔹 The significance of this capture extends beyond the system itself. Its mission memory, recorded routes, sonar data, search patterns, navigation settings, and software configuration can provide a detailed picture of how American UUVs operate in the Strait of Hormuz. From a tactical perspective, it offers valuable intelligence regarding the methods used to gather information and the operational patterns of these systems.

Several clamshell aircraft hangars appear to have been destroyed simultaneously, reportedly likely due to cluster munitions from an Iranian ballistic missile at coordinates 31.8314, 36.7914, marked with a red dotted circle. No visible damage has been reported on the apron, where American aircraft were usually stationed; however, no images of the aircraft themselves are available. Signs of damage are also visible on the lower section of the runway.
