Video of me (Thomas) summarizing the background behind and scope of Shereen's PhD thesis. I am wearing a white hoodie with a blue image of a moth and "University of Toronto" text under the moth. While explaining Toronto land use, I have a simple whiteboard style animation showing the city taking up space from natural spaces. When introducing Shereen, her picture is of her kneeling and taking measurements of plants on a roof. When listing the types of gardens included in the study, pictures of each type of garden appear as I list them. Different sections of me talking are interspersed with stock footage of people watering plants, tending to gardens, and one overhead shot of a marina in Toronto at the end of the video.
