ERLIK just passed 100 wishlists, and 647 people have played the free demo. Small numbers, but every one of them is someone who walked the steppe with a Kam. Thank you.

The demo stays up through Steam Next Fest, Oct 19-26.

2026 folk horror has questions.

These books don’t just take you somewhere you shouldn’t go.

They make you decide what you’d do once you’re there.

Musicians and authors whose work shares the same dark rootS: ancient rituals, forbidden beliefs, haunted landscapes, and the terrible price of trespassing where you don't belong.

A night on Hag Mountain is about someone hiking and stumbling upon a group of witches performing a ritual. Instead of running away, he is transfixed, and unaware that they know that he is there.

The skeleton kings wake. Kabza keeps the cursed hilt, Yalman the hiltless blade: two halves of the Sword of God, sealed in the steppe's altars. They strike with bare hands, never with the sword they guard.

As I gear up for my performance at the Switched On electronic music festival in Whitby this November I thought I’d share some impressions from my set last year.

Expect folk horror tinged atmospheres, eldritch tones and of course, foghorns. 🔊

I doodled some more music for the #folkhorror #jrpg idea. I'm going to use all the songs I made, but I think THIS ONE is the theme song, 100% for sure.

I loved it when 60's and 70's horror films used the timpani to create dread, so I added it here
