A 36-second animated civic action video (portrait) by Redmond Indivisible, themed around a stormy U.S. Capitol backdrop with flashing lightning. Opening (0:00–0:08): A yellow "Messaging Storm" banner with the date "Wednesday September 23, 2026" and subtitle "All Day Action: A coordinated call to our Elected Officials." Body text explains Speaker Mike Johnson sent the House home early again and Senator McConnell returned from sick leave with apparent impairment, arguing reforms are needed. The Capitol switchboard number (202) 224-3121 and 5calls.org are displayed alongside a "Mobilize Sign Up" QR code. Action 1 (0:09–0:16): A jagged "Action 1" bubble urges calling Senators to demand reform over keeping incapacitated senators in office. A "Senate Call Script" template is shown citing McConnell's condition. A stylized smartphone graphic with lightning appears. A yellow banner reminds callers to leave their street address if leaving voicemail. Action 2 (0:17–0:25): "Action 2" instructs calling Representatives to protest Speaker Johnson ending the House session early, citing only 65 voting days, 383 hours in session, and 34 bills passed — all record lows. A "House Call Script" template calls for the House to return to session. The smartphone graphic and voicemail reminder reappear. Why Calling Matters (0:25–0:30): A yellow banner reads "Why Calling Congress is important activism:" explaining that calls get tallied, show collective strength, and keep democracy alive. Animated cartoon frog characters appear. Text reads "Real change happens when we all show up!" and "Call. Share. Resist. Together we hold the power." Closing (0:31–0:36): Dark screen with white cursive text animating "Join the Resistance" and the "REDMOND INDIVISIBLE" logo.
