Video begins with a title card that says: We unboxed our books; it got weird. Then video plays with a man in a chair with a box in front of him. He says "my new book, what a charming house, is out now, and it's in this box. He proceeds to open the box. He first pulls out a small velvet bag filled with dollhouse furniture. Next he pulls out a rubber mallet. After that, a pair of deer antlers. Then a cast iron pot he says smells like porridge. Then there's a typewriter with a sheet of paper in it that says "I am trapped in this box." A cat then jumps out. He pulls out a lit match and next a goblet of blood. Finally, he pulls out an Ouija board and complains that while all these things are in his book, it is not his book. He attempts to use the ouija board to contact customer support. The scene dissolves and the man wakes in the same chair, only his head is a large yellow house. He says he must have been dreaming. Then he notices his books have arrived. He cuts open the box to find the books are all there and that they look pretty good. He says it's time to get some rest, and falls asleep again.
