The 1966 Ford Fairlane 500 R-Code packed Ford’s legendary 427 Side-Oiler V8. Rated at 425 hp and 480 lb-ft, it helped create a fearsome factory muscle car. The same 427 powered Ford’s GT40 Mk II at Le Mans.
