The stress accumulated from an expected turning, that Barrett was already trying to suppress, results into his form not fully going away even when the sun rises.

Barrett lies on the ground, he has presumably been curled on the ground since his turning, his eyes are wide as a panicked expression is on his face. He is mostly turned, but has some of his human elements, though retains bear ears, a bear nose, and bear arms. The shaky works “why aren’t i turning back” are above him

Questober 6: Crisis

Almost a week into Barrett and Samson meeting daily, the thought of a full moon this month had completely skipped Barrett’s mind.

How the two meet is an odd circumstance. Barrett ate from dumpsters and Samson so happened to pass by the exact alley he was eating in.
