@dekgreen.bsky.socialJust talked w/ a colleague in Maryland. Sounds like some code officials interpret codes very strictly, in a way that makes large areas unfriendly to new dev. I asked if this was purposeful, to limit new housing, and he said he hadn't really considered that.
