The thudding slowed for the briefest moments as the sirens began to harmonise, sweat saturating her hair. She hadn't seen a hangar on the site map in the Director's office, but that didn't mean there wasn't still a bike on site. They had to get supplies *somehow*.

Pulling up the rest of the map in her cluttered mind was a little difficult what with space being at a premium, but she got it eventually. A massive sign on the wall she'd just passed told her she was in the microbiology wing, so-- *Man, it's hard to think.* If she took the next left and kept going straight there should be a door marked "Service Entry". Sounded close enough to what she needed.

And then the *second* she snapped back to the real world, hell broke loose.

Of *course* she was being chased, why did slowing down to think *ever* sound like a good idea? The snarling was audible from across the other side of the building, the Director's dog keeping pace with her scavenger speed-

*Looked more like a bear, but-* its' caustic breath burning like the oxygen exhaustion wasn't way ahead of it. There was no way in hell she could square up against something three times her size, not without Iesakh. She didn't even have a weapon--

*The shiny.*

Jemma braced herself for the inertia, trying to get more grip out of the polished floor before swinging the shiny round with every shred of energy still left in her body, enough to bash in the titanium skull of what was definitely a bear. If bears were made of solid metal, which last time she'd checked they weren't.
