None of this is easy, but on the flip-side, there’s nothing I’d rather hyperfocus on more. Plus all the numbers and pretty graphs are kind of cool too. Which reminds me I need to pull something out of the hat to really analyse this stuff. Initially, I’d need to make large #XML files readable.

@kayadelen.bsky.socialWhich encoding names epubcheck's XML parser rejects follows no rule, so I tested all 341 it knows. 770 test books in all, and epubveri reports the same message IDs on every one, bar two known differences.
None of the 562 books on my shelf changed.
