8 P.M. RADAR UPDATE:

It will pass over the next several hours. The Weather Prediction Center has placed Koochiching and adjacent areas of Itasca and St. Louis counties under a "slight risk" category for excessive rainfall through Monday night. Recent discussion by the center indicates that there could be a few spots that could see over 2-inches of new rainfall due to the training variety of rain showers pushing through northern Minnesota. Minor flooding is possible in low lying spots because of this, but the threat remains low given the dry conditions over recent weeks.
