🥾 Follow the shell. A simple Camino waymark on a tree — sometimes that is all you need to know where to go next. 🇩🇪 Immer weiter der Muschel nach. #SignsOnSunday #SundaySigns #WSocialPics #Camino #Pilgrimage #Waymark #Hiking

A Camino waymark is attached to a moss-covered tree in a green forest. The sign shows a yellow scallop shell on a dark blue background, marking the direction of the pilgrimage route. Dense woodland surrounds the tree, with soft green foliage and a narrow path visible in the background.

Today I have enjoyed another day on my feet, lost in my thoughts, walking the St James' Way. How do you know I was lost in my thoughts? I am often photographed looking thoughtful which then turns to a smile and a smirk. I don't mind, it's the real me.

Finding my direction leaning on the main Camino marker stone by Reading Abbey Probably not the sort of starting sign people are used to but it's good enough for me next to Reading Abbey The church near the beginning sign next to Reading Abbey and Reading Prison Reading Abbey looking fabulous in warm October sunshine
