Truncated doesn’t look like it should be a real modern English word.

I think it’s used in computer manuals (or used to be) talking about computer text strings being cut off?

So maybe that’s why. I don’t hear about people going to the backyard to truncate their trees.

What's the #German word for when you have a fridge full of healthy food but breakfast was the last of the soy crisps and hummus at 6am and early lunch is a halal kebab plate at 11.15am?
