The adult male Wheatear on North Hill #MalvernHills this morning. Unusual to see one on the hills in this plumage at this time of year - note the deformed bill.

Occasionally it was in same view as the Snow Bunting.

Lovely stroll around the Wyre Forest this morning. 10 mins with a male Lesser Spotted Woodpecker feeding in a dead tree. Second LSW close by, and a third heard calling as I walked back to the car. Several Marsh Tit.
Water levels still very low in Dowles Brook. No ducks or Dipper. #worcsbirds

Fantastic to lose 45 minutes in the company of the North Hill Snow Bunting this afternoon. A lovely bird which was busy feeding around the summit the whole time. I just sat and watched. Cheers to @brianstretch.bsky.social #MalvernHills #WorcsBirds

Eurasian Stone-curlew is a rare visitor to our home county of #Worcestershire.

So when one turned up near Upton upon Severn, it generated plenty of interest amongst local #birders.
