a relic from 2022, after i settled on how precisely endwalker played out for them

in that the final days awoke an echo in alisaie, marina properly died for a bit, and alisaie was the only witness to her being tossed out of the lifestream

they're probably fine

Halley fussing over Alisaie in her sickbed at Rhalgr's Reach. Halley is clearly torn up over her injuries, and is pressing her forehead against hers and holding her hand gingerly. Both are blushing.

Diana sitting on a couch, smiling as she playing an electric guitar, while Alisaie smiles with her eyes shut as she leans against her girlfriend.

Alisaie and Diana in a desert oasis. The two have their respective weapons drawn - a rapier and focus for Alisaie, a bow shaped like a guitar for Diana (with her also having a gunhalberd on her back) - and are standing next to each other as they prepare to fend off a horde of sandworms, confident in themselves and each other. Behind them, two sandworms approach, with one lunging at them with mouth wide open in an attempt to devour them.

Alisaie and Diana, standing on a rooftop in Sharlayan with the moon rising from behind them. The two are dressed as magical girls, Diana in a red top with black gloves, skirt, stockings, and heels, while Alisaie is in a white top with red gloves, skirt, stockings, and heels.

Alisaie Leveilleur and Diana Celeris, enjoying their tour of the Sharlayan homeland in the Moon of Menphina, in the Fifteen Hundred and Eighty-First Year of the Sixth Astral Era" (written in very formal calligraphy)
Alisaie (in a red denim jacket) and Diana (in a red leather jacket and black plaid skirt) smiling at the camera as Alisaie stands in front of Diana and Diana puts her hand on Alisaie's shoulder.

after being cut off from saying it at ghimlyt, spending a year pining after what clearly cannot be, and several months watching marina let herself be consumed by light, you'd think alisaie would get there first

marina said it first, miraculously returned to normal, cradled in her arms
