Could Wirtz's goals and assists numbers be better? Absolutely. Does that mean the 'hot take' that he's a flop is fair or accurate? Absolutely not. His work rate, effort and overall impact on matches have been clear to see, despite what some 'pundits' seem to think.

Very interesting analysis by James Allcot on Wirtz’s struggles in the team! #LFC #Wirtz youtu.be/lfD3-OxJY2s?...

Id give Wirtz 15 mins in the 2nd half and say to him you don't show me all of you have then you're not playing the next game. Starting to give me Nunez vibes where the hope is there but the results are the same. 2nd to the ball, sloppy passes and playing it safe. #LFC #Wirtz #Mancity #Prem

#Wirtz ist absolut überall. #LIVMCI

Klopp needed that: Wirtz and Bayern's Tom Bischof scored as a younger Germany brushed aside Serbia, quieting the noise after the Greece defeat. #GER #Wirtz #SRB

Wow. #wirtz #gersrb

Nicht so schlecht gemacht. #Wirtz

Klopp believes Florian Wirtz needs time, confidence and a functioning team around him to show his best football. 🔴

Have supporters and pundits been too quick to judge him?

Is this the season we see the best of Wirtz at Liverpool? 👇
