Tri color sketches for #inktober2026 this year. I'm a fan of combining prompt lists to get a full illustration. Todays words are: stone, crow, and sacred spring #sketchtober #fairytober2026 #whimsytober2026 #ruintober2026

This photo of a sketchbook page features a few drawing utensils on the sides red and black mechanical colored pencils on the left and blue and tellow on the right. The page itself is slightly crooket but on it is an illustration sketch. The forgeound of the sketch done mostly in yellow and blue shows trinkets left at the sacred spring, and a pool of blur with glowing stones around it and coins or stones glowing at the bottom. The midground doe mostly in red with blue to show case the water shows a few bushes surrounding a stone wall or pile from which the water seeps. On top of the wall is a crow and a small pile of trinkets. The background is the sketchy idea of a red forest and some blue flower like plants. (Note: i do the initial sketches in yellow and then define and highlight areas with the red and the blue.)
