Unlike animals, they tend to hold onto too much anxiety. Which is why the tree planted in Custas that gave him his legs raises some questions. My right eye was the only one to sprout during the experiments. It must have some connection to the silverwood in Custas.

So, reasonably, Qifrey probably got infected with his silverwood normal style. Even if it's modified in some way, he likely just swallowed it. The reason that humans don't get the infection may be because they know not to eat silverwood seeds and avoid them. But... #witchhatatelier

I'm kind of dreading the day ch 40 of #WitchHatAtelier gets adapted in the anime (likely at the end of s2) because the anti-Qifrey discourse is going to be so irritating. And it's only going to be resolved like three seasons later. 😭
