Uncanny luna ignites
wild sensuality in beasts,
distant foghorns sound eerily
pale aberrations hide amid wolfsbane,
a devilish werewolf begins his hunt
dead spirits curse his diabolical deeds,
as he slaughtering all without penitence.

Wretched tarts made of
Witches farts and eyes of newts,
Screaming when bitten.

Can a pale aberration
be yesterday's news
or does it tarnish
all that comes before it
can it be covered in dust and soot
or hidden under a carpet

There, in the back
Of my fridge it sat
Now far from fresh
Buns a soggy mess
The wrapper left open
To a pale aberration
That was once lunch
I mourn thee, sandwich

A hallowed muse
welcome in my house
talks in silver tones
about the wonders of

I will be your hallowed muse,
my freckles
a patterned penitence
of Irish bootstrappers
who cannot bare me;

you will be my writer true,
your eyes
a daggered dalliance
of manufactured men
who do not condone me

Each thought rolls
Blown by the winds
Then settles in a recess
Of my mind
Buried by others
More immediate
Until I find the time
To sift through this
My existential drift

Hellish midnight
nearly forgotten dreads emerge
crashing the dam of tension,
banshee's spectral shrieks
haunt the sinful and malefic mortals
crossing liminal passage
of infernal catacombs
who shunned the deathly knells
sounding memento mori.

Walking through the new haunted house gave them the creeps. Since the hallways had been converted into these strange liminal passages. The next turn they took was into a blood-filled room that made every cell in their body scream, “ RUN.”

...snowflakes
Cover my branches

It was not my intent to drink his blood

Now I am incensed
At humanity's
Primeval chicanery
And atrocities

Wait until my roots are free...
