Track order for "kalt, tómt land" and the instrument in play

1. snjókoma – snowfall – #multi/poly
2. einvera – solitude; loneliness – #modwave
3. gönguferð í gegnum neindina – a stroll through nothingness – #opsix
4. villtur á hjara veraldar – lost in the middle of nowhere – #wavestate

Officially now, today marks the completion of "kalt, tómt land" after sitting unfinished for the better part of 2 years (based upon "snjókoma" releasing as a single in January of 2025)

This album will feature the #opsix, #wavestate, #modwave, *and* the #multi/poly,

"kalt, tómt land" will also mark a new milestone

4-track album, and all 4 of my R-Pi #korg synths feature on it

"snjókoma" – #multi/poly
"einvera" – #modwave
"gönguferð í gegnum neindina" – #opsix
"villtur á hjara veraldar" – #wavestate

The direction is:
"tímagrafirnar" on #wavestate, in F# Dorian

"völundarhúsið" on #multi/poly, massive as you please, and in Phrygian mode, don't know what tonic yet

For today, I am practicing "gönguferð í gegnum neindina" on the #opsix so I can finally finish recording "kalt, tómt land"

And as a word of caution to #wavestate -havers, if you are going to use the sample, "Syn: Air Vortex", in lower registers, tread fuckin carefully

In a place where time flows backward, maybe you can save the one you love most

Sometimes you just have to tear everything down and start over

In the hour since I posted this, I have been fighting with various delay presets across multiple delay types on the #wavestate trying to find one I like and that won't drive me nuts after a few loops of the sequences (and that doesn't turn it into a mess)

Disco Shopping Beat is the winner

Starting on "andóreiða" today on the #wavestate, and found a good sub-bass sound for Layer A without having to test like, *every* bass sample in the library before I was satisfied

That's a good feeling and bodes well for the patch

It is just warm enough outside that the heat isn't running inside, and I am just about frozen solid

The pain and discomfort today is pretty intense, but I'm going to try to dig in with the #wavestate in spite of myself

So I've been thinking for a while now about how to do walkthrough videos (if you want to call them that) with the #wavestate, #multi/poly, and #modwave

I think in order to do that and have it be worth a damn, OBS is going to need to become a part of my life

Couple more ideas are coming into focus for the Hyperion project

I want to do "andóreiða" – anti-entropy on the #wavestate and have that be Berlin School-ish too now that I'm becoming more proficient with that style and starting to enjoy making it more

Giving the 5 tracks a listen in the order I currently have them to see if I want to change anything up at all before locking them in, and I'll say this,

"asúrsteinn" and "grassjórinn" remind me why the #wavestate is my favorite synthesizer

The sounds out of it are just incomparably good

5 for 5, and both the #wavestate and #modwave needed firmware updates to fix some bugs with sequences running with the Random Order setting switched on, so that's very important for my work that I got that fix installed

Time to do the wavestate se and opsix se I suppose
