Autumn in #Scotland, in all it's vibey and frosty glory as the later sunrises start to coincide with the morning commute. #StirlingCastle and The #WallaceMonument rise above the mists rolling along the winding loops of the River Forth.

An aerial drone photograph looking east at sunrise over the Forth Valley in Scotland. Early morning mist covers the view from the River Forth towards the Wallace Monument as the tower pierces through the blanket of mist on top of the Abbey Craig volcanic plug on which it sits. The Ochil Hills to the north of the valley are still shrouded in cloud as a soft diffused glow from the sun sits over the distant view towards FifeA lower level view from the river bank along the Kildean Loop on the Forth. The Ochil Hills and the Wallace Monument appear and then disappear again as the mists roll along the valley. The sunrise casts a warm glow on the image, and in the bank of mist that is slowly receding along the still water of the River. The warm look was countered by the low single figure temperature, and this was the first day my walk was on crunchy frost covered grass.
Turning to the other side of the river another ancient volcanic plug that once acted as a defence for Stirling Castle now helps stand proud of the morning mist and in to the warmth of an atmospheric autumn sunrise. The mists move slowly along the river catching and diffusing the morning sunlight. Watched a beaver lazily swim along the nearside bank a couple of times this week, so hoping to catch them on camera soon too.
An aerial drone photograph looking east at sunrise over suburban fringes of Stirling in Scotland. Early morning mist blankets residential area around 'The Raploch', whilst the imposing buildings of Stirling Castle stand dark and resolute above the concealing blanket of mist. Trees turning to their autumn colours catch the sunlight as students heading to the local college disembark from the No.59 Callander bus and drift off to their classes across the road out of the City.
