She's also that gentle embrace
When life begins to overwhelm
Carrying you through your storms
Until you find your ground again

still
lying in wait
patient as a grain of sand
forming the shore
as I come with kinetic chaos
rolling across your thoughts
this cycle
ruled by our heat
in a moment a wave
in the next vanished
leaving only your thoughts
and memory
tasting wetness...

your smile
sends my heart
fluttering to the moon,
the taste of your lips
leaves my soul awestruck
captive to the tempo
of singing stars,
& your touch
oh your touch
elevates every sensation
to stratospheric heights,
as i soar
~s o a r~
whilst you take my breath away.

perhaps,
if i call upon tonight's
golden shooting stars
kismet's signature of dreams
will gather up & elevate
the longing language
of my heartbeats
to make my wishes come true,
& i could spend
all of my today's
all of my tomorrow's
beautifully loved by you.

Pic freepik art

come nightfall
i sketched an ocean of stars
across my lonely looking sky,
adding swirling breaths
now a vision of luminous light
making the moon smile,
& as she sang
her last lullaby
before the dawn,
i made a wish
a yearning wish
for limitless lifetimes
loved by you.
